About Our Operation
Our green waste material recovery facility is a new addition to the Universal Waste Systems Inc. family of companies. We process and sell over 60,000 tons of green waste, wood waste, compost, and mulch per year. We are proud to close the loop in our full circle green waste recycling approach by adding this facility.

Our organic soil amendments help prevent soil compaction and erosion. Other benefits include, weed suppression, soil moisture retention and root protection, while adding nutrients to the top soil as it breaks down.
Beautify the Environment
Why We Care
Our community is our livelihood; therefore we take a special interest in giving back. We allocate several days per year where residential customers of our UWS can come to our facility and pick up mulch and compost free of charge to help beautify their environment and thus beautify the community as a whole.
As part of our Green Education Program, we have developed a Mobile Landscape Demonstration Site that will be operational very soon. This MLDS will feature a wide range of soil amendments and compost materials in a living eco environment that demonstrates how these products can be used to nourish and grow plants, flowers, vegetables and fruits.
